Sequence Comments

For the test tomorrow make sure you can fill in gaps in a sequence
For example 2, ___, ___ 16, ... is a geometric sequence find the missing terms, then write the recursive rule.

(Note missing numbers are 4, 8 and recursive rule is T(n+1) = 2T(n); T(1) = 2)

The questions also include finance type contexts so make sure you know percentage increase type questions and be able to use general rules to describe them.

Good luck and see you all in the morning.

Good Luck in your exams

Good luck and Study hard for your exams. You are all capable of surprising yourselves in a good way IF you put the work in. Study the topics you know first and then work on the topics you don''t later. Please feel free to ask questions through the blog or e-mail me at the education one. I am planning to check the e-mails and blog each evening to respond to any queries.

Histograms

There is lots of information and activity sites to create histograms. You need to be able to read them and describe distributions and estimate central tendency for this course.

Here a silly and education activities to have a go at.

very silly activity

try to find a video that also shows interpreting histograms. So far I have only found how to draw them!
